There is nothing that girls of today cannot achieve.  They can make records, break records.

One such young girl is Udaipur, Rajasthan’s, Gauravi Singhvi.  She showed an incredible spirit.

On early hours of Tuesday morning, she swam between Khar Danda, which lies along the west coast of Mumbai and Gateway of India, covering a distance of about 48 km.  She started to swim at 3:30 am and reached Gateway of India by 12:30 pm.

She had become the first girl in March 2017 to swim from Worli Koliwada near the Bandra-Worli Sea Link to the Gateway of Indian.  At that time, she covered a distance of 36 km in less than 7 hours.

Gauravi has always been passionate about swimming.  She started participating in different swimming competitions since the time she was in class 3.  She is very hard working and practices swimming day and night.

Her coach is Mahesh Paliwal.  He says that Gauri practices for 8-10 hours every day.  Now after achieving this feat, her aim is to cross the English Channel and she will start practicing for it now.

Gauravi’s ultimate dream is to swim across the English Channel and the Arabian Sea.

At such a young age, she has become the inspiration of all young girls.
